no,no this is not an obscene message or me asking to see more of hip-o's butt. it is simply a request for hip-o select to consider releasing the fanny lp from th casablanca catalog. you know the girl group that gets accolades from all the girl groups that ever made it big!!!!!!!!!!!on this lp i believe the girls donned make up and looked surprisingly like kiss on the cover.

YESYESYES!!!!!! I was just about to suggest Fanny''s 1974 LP "Rock + Roll Survivors" to be on CD on Hip-O Select!!! It would be perfect, as brothers-in-arms Rhino Handmade in 2002 released a 4CD Fanny box called "First Time In A Long Time", consisting of their entire Reprise/Warner catalogue (4 albums plus demos, live tracks, etc)...2 members left and were replaced by their original drummer and Susie Quatro''s older sister Patti Quatro on lead guitar. They then switched labels to Casablanca, and put out "Rock + Roll Survivors" from 1974...twas to be their final album...yet it had their biggest chart single, the #29 hit "Butter Boy". This is their only album not available on CD...Please guys, put this sucker out, for completion''s sake...they paved the way for all future all-girl rock + roll bands!!!!!!!

Thank you...

BTW?? Fanny kicks BUTT!!!!!

Yes, for sure. I have this on LP from back in the day, but would jump at a CD reissue. Have the Rhino set--bought it by pre-order--but think, too, that R&R; Survivor is a great LP!
