Though the album only reached Number 8, and it didn’t even have a Top Ten single, the impact of this disc can’t be overestimated. If you had a record collection in 1971, you had this album. Period. Like James Taylor’s Sweet Baby James and Carole King’s Tapestry, this album was everywhere. Produced by ex-Yardbird Paul Samwell-Smith, the disc contained music featured in the cult classic movie Harold And Maude, and the single “Wild World” was later covered by Jimmy Cliff, Mister Big and Maxi Priest. Our imported disc is pressed on 180-gram vinyl in Europe and replicates the fine warm sound only analog can bring.
