RELEASE DATE: SOLD OUT
Only 300 vinyl LP copies imported.
Sandwiched in between Ten Summoner’s Tales and Brand New Day, this album is a little bit darker than the ones that bookend it. Though it could not in any way be construed as country, two songs from this disc were successfully adapted by country artists: “I’m So Happy I Can’t Stop Crying” by Toby Keith and “I Hung My Head” by Johnny Cash. Despite being a Number Five album with three Hot 100 singles, it never quite seemed to break out of Summoner’s shadow. This, of course, would be an excellent time for Sting fans to revisit the record, especially on vinyl. Our imported disc is pressed on 180-gram vinyl in Europe and replicates the fine warm sound only analog can bring.
DID YOU KNOW? Sting once did a duet version of “Every Breath You Take” with Robert Downey, Jr. |
