After listening to "Big City Babies Don't Cry," "The Sound of Music" and other gems on the wonderful new CD "There's A Place For Us," I played side one of the "GIT" album and wondered again why this has not been issued on CD. It justs bursts with the joy, good humor, energy and talent that Diana Ross displayed when she was transitioning herself from lead singer of a pop group to solo stardom; what potentials she had.
Please issue "GIT" and "Sing and Perform 'Funny Girl'" at once!
Let's remind people of Diana's tremendous abilities and jumpstart her career once more.

For what it's worth, Harry Weinger has indicated elsewhere that we should not expect to see GIT released on cd unless the video component can also be cleared for release. At the time I think he indicated that the same applies to TCB.

Thanks, I have it too on cd. I was just repeating what Harry Weinger said at that time in his frustration. But what no fan legally has claimed to have is a commercially produced by original copyright owner video or dvd of TCB or GIT. Poor quality bootlegs can be readily found.

The fantastic, Diana-riffic "Leading Lady Medley" is reason alone for this to receive a long-overdue CD release with fully remastered sound!!! This is a tour-de-force and is Diva Diana at her very best!
