All of Carly Simon's catalogue is available on CD except for 1983's "Hello, Big Man" which she released on Warner Bros (was on CD for a very short time). It's a classic album which peaked at #69 in September, 1983. Let's get it back on CD!
(The title is taken from the first time Carly's parents met - when introduced to each other, he said "Hello, little woman" and she answerd "Hello, big man". The song itself is based on their meeting and subsequent relationship)

"H,BM" is one of my Carly favorites! I also like 1980''''s "Come Upstairs". BTW, I found "H,BM" used on ebay.

Carly Simon's Hello Big Man is owned by Warner Bros Records. Carly herself was trying to get Rhino to rerelease it a couple of years ago. Apparently there are quite a few unreleased tracks from the sessions also. I have included a link to Rhino Handmade's suggestion box. Suggest it to them and we may be lucky in the end.

Thanks you guys! (I thought I was the only Carly fan here for a while!) 
I know Simon had trouble getting some of these tracks (from H, BM) on her boxed set about ten years ago, too. I will send my suggestion to the link! Thanks again!

Thanks for the imput. I sent my request to the website listed. I just spent my 3rd trip to Memensha (Martha's Vineyard) last October where Carly's HBO VHS/Current DVD was performed and Memensha is a title of a song on HBM. I had the wondeful opportunity to meet Carly during my stay and would love to hear that song but it is only on that CD. If you hear of any way of purchasing the CD execpt for the unbelievable costs on Ebay, please advise.

An little personal story about HELLO BIG MAN: I remember seeing that CD in a local music store way back in the late 80's, probably 1987, just after COMING AROUND AGAIN had been released. I didn't know anything about it, but I had just started getting into Carly's music, and there was nothing else available on CD except for SPOILED GIRL and THE BEST OF. I came very close to purchasing HELLO BIG MAN, but I ended up not getting it because...well, back then I was a bit of a prude, and I was taken aback because one of the songs was called "Damn You Get to Me." So to make a long story short, I didn't buy it. Big mistake! A few weeks later I changed my mind, but when I went back to the store, it was gone.
It wasn't until years later, when HELLO BIG MAN was reissued on CD, that I finally was able to purchase it. The one I saw back in the 80's was probably a West German pressing. Now I own two copies of HELLO BIG MAN on CD, one an original West German pressing and the other a domestic disc. The sound quality is the same, but I think there is a pic on the West German booklet that's not on the domestic release.
At any rate, HELLO BIG MAN is an overlooked gem in Carly's catalogue and most certainly should get another chance.

If anyone is looking for AUTOGRAPHED CDs of hers, check out her store 'Midnight Farm' - in Vineyard Haven (on Martha's Vineyard). They are usually sold there (for a hefty price - however, I believe the money is given to a MV charity). She is usually there, too, during the summer months.
