Hey...

Are there any other Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr. fans out there? I was listening to the Razor & Tie reissue of "I Hope We Get To Love In Time" and all I could think about was not only what a great album "I Hope..." is but why isn't there a greatest hits of this duo compling their ABC & Columbia material together. They've definitely got some gems that I would to see on CD such as "Look What You've Done To My Heart" from The Two Of Us and numerous others. What can me do to make this happen?

Hip O Select will not be involved in licensing material from other labels so a combined greatest hits compilation via this route, is not going to happen.

Perhaps, a 2- fer combining both albums on one CD and including any leftover outtakes or vault tracks may be the better way to go.

Just found out from reading their autobio, Up Up and Away, that in addition to their duo projects together, there are a number of solo tracks in the can recorded during their ABC stint by both of them.

We know that in the summer of '75, ABC did release a single on Billy entitled "Three steps from true love" that went nowhere due to another version garnering most of the airplay and sales by the Reflections.

Hopefully, there are enough tracks for at least one album by each of them that could see the light of day in the very near future.

Not Only McCoo And Davis..but how about getting the last of the 5th dimension lps on cd? we still have 5 of the 5th's Bell Lps NEVER on cd anywhere and their last lp on ABC produced by Jimmy Webb "earthbound" also never on cd. This group had many gold records not mention the grammy's...why we have to beg to get their catlog on cd is a puzzle to me. PLEASE...let's get the 5th's entire catlog and themsome on Cd. Thanks
