How about Ann-Margret's self title disco LP on MCA from 1980 produced by Paul Sabu. Generated the top 10 disco hit "Love Rush" and never released on cd even a disco compilatoin. Rapaul liscensed one of the tracks "Midnight Message" for a compilation RUPAULS GO-GO BOX CLASSICS a few years back. For Bonus tracks she had two songs on an independent 12" called "Everybody Needs Somebody Sometime and the bside "Hold Me, Squeeze Me." If Ethel Merman's horrible but campy disco lp made it to cd, come on! This one is 10 x better!

totally agree. I thought I was like the only one who remembered that great disco song, "Love Rush". I have the RuPaul CD and would totally love the Ann-Margret lp to be on CD.

OMG! I thought I was the only person in the entire world who had heard that Ann-Margret LP! I still have the copy I bought in 1980! I remember watching her do "Love Rush" on Merv Griffin's show! Ann-Margret: "No, it's not disco, it's dance music." The LP came out right when the disco backlash was getting going. "Love Rush" was a big hit on the disco, erm, I mean, dance chart.
I used to have that "Hold Me, Squeeze Me" 12", and that was GOOOOD.
C'mon, Hip-O, if you can do Joey Heatherton, you can do Ann-Margret!
