How about another Invictus alumni getting the Hip-O Select treatment?

Eloise's 1977 ABC album, her first after leaving HDH, Eliose, needs to be re-mastered and released on CD. Unfortunately, I was unable to pick this one up during its initial time (I was an impecunious college student) but what I did hear from it, I loved. After all, Eloise worked with non other than Linda Creed (Thom Bell-Linda Creed fame) and Jerry Goldstein from War so how could she miss?

The cuts I love hearing over and over are the single, "1,000 laughs" and album tracks, "Love comes easy" and "#1".

Eloise is one of the most underrated singers from the classic soul era and it's about time she gets her due. A Hip-O Select release is definitely one way to help her get there.

I totally agree about Eloise's being underrated. Although we are posting in a website that's a part of Universal Music, I would also love to see Eloise's 1980 lp that was released on Liberty Records get the CD treatment. I love the song "Moment To Moment" that leads off Side 2 of the record.

I agree, nc-media fan, but unfortunately Subcommandante TT has stated that there will be no licensing songs from other companies so there you go.

I wholeheartedly agree that Eloise's 1980 Liberty album is a smoker and maybe the powers-that-be at EMI will be so inclined to do one of their single disc anthology collections on Eloise as they have done on Calloway, Midnight Star, The Deele and Carrie Lucas. One could only hope that they do!
