Funny how Berry Gordy didn't sign 'The 5-D' back in the '60's when they started out! Claimed he "liked the sound, but didn't hear hits"!
Yet, I wonder how the group...sans Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Junior...managed to impress the label and get signed on, A Whole TEN Years Later...!!
Reissue of the 'bombastic, but good', 'Star Dancing'/'High On Sunshine' anybody?!
'Goin' Through The Motions...' --J.E.G. '...I Start To Feel Like Dancin'...!'

I'd love to get the 5th Dimension's "Star Dancing" album released on CD (I wasn't as keen on the "High On Sunshine" album) togther with any outtakes of which, I believe, there are a couple.
"Going Through The Motions" must rank as their most soulful performance ever, it even betters Candi Staton's original and that's saying a lot!
