With the celebration of Spinal Tap every few years I cannot believe the Powers That Be have never thought to release the Pre-Tap "Lenny & the Squigtones" featuring a young Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest) on guitar and Ming the Merciless (Peter Criss of Kiss) on drums. It was recorded live at the Roxy and released on Casablanca Records in 1980.

I've pretty much worn out my copy on vinyl!

I've been searching for this album for ages. Had a copy as a kid in '79, and haven't seen it since. Any leads would be appreciated. I wouldn't expect anyone to ship their copy away to a stranger, but I work in a small recording studio (One Take Wonder) and frequently do vinyl-to-CD transfer. If anyone reading happens to have a spare copy to loan out, I'd be happy to treat it as if it were made of spun gold, and do a top notch transfer.

Jeff, my vinyl is pretty worn out but I have often seen sealed copies on Ebay.
