Hi Folks,
The decision to suspend service outside America is not a happy one for any of us here at Select. Without going into details, it had nothing at all to do with SureSource. Nor did it have anything to do with the actions of any of our customers, whom we respect and appreciate, no matter where they happen to live. Universal is an international company, and each territory has the exclusive right to sell Universal products within that territory. We were forced to comply with an international policy that forbids any Universal-owned entity from selling directly to customers outside their territory. We are working with our counterparts internationally to resolve this as quickly as practicable to ensure that our customers, and music fans all over the globe, have access to those pieces of musical goodness that roll off the capacious Hip-O Select production line. We apologize for the interruption, we're working to remedy it as quickly as we can, and we ask for your patience and good will while we attempt to resolve the issue. With flexibility, diligence, and a little luck, we will come out the other side being able to serve you, the music fan, even better than we do now.
