Seeing as how Uni now owns all of her Decca albums form the 60's, and this WONDERFUL singer has not had ONE CD issue... it;'s high time she did... come ON, not even a greatest hits package???!!! I get all "Misty Blue" just thinking about it! And especially since she passed away last year, many people are interested in a CD compilation at the very least.

David,
I agree. Wilma Burgess is a part of Country Music History and of the Best of it. What are these record people thinking. I say get her music on CD now, promote it promote it and promote it. She is one of the greatest voices in Country Music. Her death saddened many world wide. Not only her days with Decca were great, but she continued on with Shannon Records owned by the Mary Reeves, the late widow of the late great Jim Reeves. Wilma had many big hits besides "Misty Blue". Me and other fans of her and her music. have established a site which I list below. It is will be updated constantly. I knew Wilma on a personal leve.
Parts of her career were what I feel as tragic, and the things that some of the lowlife on music row here in Nashville handle artists back then. But Wilma walked tall above all of them, not only in talent but charactor and much more. God Bless this great legend of the very best of Country Music.
