Through my research, I have discovered that Universal does indeed own the rights to Melanie's Neighborhood records catalogue, which would include the fan favorites: GATHER ME, STONEGROUND WORDS, MADRUGADA, AS I SEE IT NOW, and SUNSET AND OTHER BEGINNINGS. Can someone (Subcommandante?) check to see if this is indeed true? If so, Melanie has thousands of worldwide fans who will buy them in a heartbeat. Incidentally, the one album which was at one time on CD (Gather Me) now goes for about $100 on eBay!
